Robin, a Broker Associate for BHGRE Haven Properties, is a consistent top producer recognized year after year with some of the highest honors in the Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate brand including the Emerald Elite Award (2022-2024), ranking in the top 1% nationally, the Platinum Award (2019-2021), ranking in the top 2% nationally, and the Gold Award in both 2025 and 2017-2018.
Robin grew up in the real estate business and is a 3rd generation Realtor and Broker Associate. She began working, at a young age, for her parents who had a luxury real estate brokerage in downtown La Jolla. Beginning in 1999, Robin was with a luxury brokerage in Rancho Santa Fe and specialized in representing buyers and sellers in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Solana Beach, and her hometown of La Jolla.
Prior to selling real estate, Robin was in marketing where she earned an American Advertising Award (ADDY Award) and a Public Relations Society of America (PRA) Award; the latter for her work helping Avila Ranch, a 720-home new construction subdivision, earn approval from the City of San Luis Obispo Architectural Committee and City Council, making a dramatic positive impact on the local housing shortage. After a highly successful career in marketing, she brought that same talent to the real estate world. Robin is a consistent leader with a reputation for tenaciously protecting her clients' interests, exceptional negotiation skills, and cutting-edge marketing strategies drawn from her corporate and agency background.
Robin is a graduate of the University of California San Diego and lives in San Luis Obispo with her husband and four children. Her husband, Derrek Hee, is a local team roper who moved to San Luis Obispo in 1986 to attend Cal Poly and compete on the Cal Poly Rodeo Team and, like so many, fell in love with the area and never left. They have five horses, and one of Robin's specialties is horse property. With four children currently between the ages of 11 and 27, Robin knows the ins and outs of schools and raising a tamily in San Luis Obispo County.
Outside of real estate, Robin is actively involved in the community. She currently serves as the San Luis Obispo County ambassador for UCSD. Previously, she served on the board of Stand Strong (now Illumina Alliance) for six years, including three years as president, and as marketing chairperson for Softec, a software and technology association. Her community involvement has also included serving on the board of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) in San Diego and advocating for The Children's Resource Network of the Central Coast.
